I remember my first horse I was thirteen, she was a little red mare skinny and scrawny like me.  She was my best friend!  She was never trained, I just put a bridle on her jumped up and away we went.  I lived in Florida at the time so we would ride to the bay and swim, stop at the store for a snack, and sneak on the air strip and run as fast as we could....How I miss her even now!  I thank God for allowing me to have more horses to make more wonderful memories.  Sue Lamb
When Summer was born:  I remember my mom coming home after school and telling me that Zoe had her baby.  Mom said we have to come up with a name.  So we thought about it, and she was born on August 7th2007 a cool summers morning, she has a white blaze with a brown star on it.  So we named her Summer Morning Star.  After a month or two the front of her legs turned milky white.  She was born red, but now she is chocolate.  Now we wonder what color she will be!  Carole Umstead
